Can anybody join Fortitude?
Fortitude Performance Team have 2 classes covering ages 4 and up, please see our Classes Page for more information.
Do you offer free trials?
Yes, all children will receive one free trial lesson. If you decide to commit to the team, you will need to have signed all forms and paid for the remaining lessons of that half term before the date of the next lesson. Please note there are registration deadlines each season, after which we do not accept new members.
How much are classes?
Performance Squad classes are £5 a lesson and Junior Squad classes are £4 a lesson. There is also a £10 registration fee which is charged on the first invoice. Siblings get a 25% discount on their class fees.
What should children wear to class?
Children are expected to wear black bottoms and a white t-shirt with comfortable trainers. Trainers will be kept on during rehearsals.
Branded uniform is available. Information and order forms are available on request from a Committee Member.
What carnivals will Fortitude be taking part in?
It will be our aim to enter six carnivals for the Performance Squad; South Petherton, Axminster, Wellington, Ilminster, Chard and Taunton. The Junior Squad aim to enter the Ilminster and Chard Children's carnivals.
How many carnivals will children have to commit to?
Children are expected to attend all carnivals.
Are carnival outfits charged to families?
Yes, carnival outfits will be payable by families of the child(ren). Every effort will be made to make these outfits as affordable as possible with plenty of time given for purchasing.
How will children get to carnival?
It will be the responsibility of families to make arrangements for their child(ren) to be dropped off and picked up at each carnival.
