Can anybody join Fortitude?
Fortitude Performance Team is open to anyone aged between 7 (school year 3) – 16 (school year 11) years old.
For now, we are closed to new students whilst we perfect routines for Carnival season 2025. Bookings will open again in 2026. Please email info@fortitude-ilminster.co.uk to get on the waiting list.
Do you offer free trials?
Yes, all children will receive one free trial lesson. If you decide to commit to the team, you will need to have signed all forms and paid for the remaining lessons of that half term before the date of the next lesson.
How much are classes?
Classes are £5 a lesson and will be invoiced half termly. There is also a £10 registration fee which is charged on the first invoice.
What should children wear to class?
Children are expected to wear black bottoms and a white t-shirt with comfortable trainers. Trainers will be kept on during rehearsals.

What carnivals will Fortitude be taking part in?
It will be our aim to enter six carnivals. South Petherton, Axminster, Wellington, Ilminster, Chard and Taunton.
How many carnivals will children have to commit to?
Children are expected to attend all carnivals.
Are carnival outfits charged to families?
Yes, carnival outfits will be payable by families of the child(ren). Every effort will be made to make these outfits as affordable as possible with plenty of time given for purchasing.
How will children get to carnival?
It will be the responsibility of families to make arrangements for their child(ren) to be dropped off and picked up at each carnival.
